16-20 St Bernard Drive

Tawonga South, Victoria, Australia

The Lodge

This colonial style solid brick building is situated in the picturesque Kiewa Valley, in Tawonga South. It is one of only a few options for large group accommodation, catering for up to 20 people who wish to have affordable, good quality accommodation with the freedom to prepare their own meals or dine out.

Kitchen & Living Space

The large communal area is well set up for large groups, with a spacious kitchen (dual ovens, microwaves and fridges) and two large dining tables, with seating for 20.

The living zone features a sound system with Bluetooth or AUX connection and TV with DVD player. As well as a number of board games and a small pool table to pass the time.

There is also a shared coin operated laundry.

Our Neighbourhood

The lodge is in a residential area and backs onto an open grassy reserve, perfect for a bit of frisbee, footy or boccee (BYO).

Beyond this is a small creek, with a walking track starting at the bridge, the perfect place to explore with young children.

There is a cafe, wholefoods shop and restaurant at the end of the road, and the main street of Tawonga South is just beyond this.

The Rooms

Our rooms are private and accessed externally. The doors can be locked and all rooms have an en suite.

The essentials, such as pillows, linen and towels, are provided and you will find them basic but clean.

The rooms are a mixture of twin, double and triple rooms, with one quad room and a self-contained room with kitchenette

Bike Friendly

As our lodge is 2 storey, some rooms are accessed via stairs. If this will affect your stay, please contact us, and we provide more information.

We have made some recent changes to help our bike-riding guests feel more at home.

We have lockable bike storage, a bike wash and bike rack, with some basic bike repair tools and a pump.

Our pin-board inside has some suggested rides and we're more than happy to chat about the local road and mountain bike options if you need some more info.
